Cache Creek Trail System

East Jackson, Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Favorite

Address: Cache Creek Drive,
Hours: Daylight to dark
Tips: Wear sunscreen. There is little shade in Cache Creek compared to the forested Snow King across the way.

Cache Creek is probably the most accesible trail system in the entire Teton County area.  With smooth, well maintained trails, it is frequented by locals and visitors almost constantly.  Snow shoeing, dog walking, mountain biking, hiking, horesback riding, sunset watching, stroller walking…so many possibilities here.  We love seeing so many happy people embracing nature and enjoying all that Jackson has to offer. There are a mix of trails available from easy and minimal incline to thoroughly challenging.  You can spend 20 minutes to 8 hours weaving your way through the grassy wild flower filled fields.

There are two parking lots at two seperate trailheads.  The Nelson Trailhead is on Nelson Drive and the Cache Creek Trailhead is 2 miles down Cache Creek Drive.  It can get especially busy on weekends and holidays.
